I looked at Harmon's feathercarbon cowl over Memorial weekend. It's definitely a thin piece, but when you consider is just a cowling and not a vital structural piece it doesnt matter to much. It basically feels like 2 layers of CF.

I thought the price was fair to for the quality of fit and finish.

3lbs to 13oz, thats a good amount of weight savings dude....

Now if only they could get someone to help out their POS website and make it nicer and actually load the first time I visit it....

280. He is making me a cf 4" cowl hood eventually. maybe a month and a half out. plus production of said piece. My cf tailgate weighs 2 lbs, 10 oz, vs 35lbs xxoz, it will need a frame support since it is a pin on, but some thin walled aluminum and small plate should make quick work of that.

there are better cf guys but you will pay. i am VERY happy for my price to piece ratio. its all i want. I am not going to sema, and this is no show truck. It will be pretty but it will be fast. the latter is what i am aiming for.

All we need now is CF front fenders. that would be the cat's meow!

As far as gates go, its not like we haul tons of stuff in our trucks. Sure, you could sit on it, but my cell, battery, and crap like that are there. I don't want people seeing what i have, save you guys ;)

Cf fenders could be made. i am sure with some demand, he would make them. I'd prefere a front and rear bumper. Especially a front one. I do have a spare cover i could send him. It needs a small repair, but nothing my local buddy couldn't fix in an hour or two.

He could maybe make them without fog lights too? just spitballing...
