Only the "RT" program can datalog. Try it first for free, then pay $30 if you like it. Get a cable from just about anywhere, or make your own. You will need a laptop with a DB-9 serial port (has 9 pins- and its not the monitor port that everyone has), or you will have to try your luck with a USB to serial adapter, or pay $80 to Craig moates for a USB to ALDL cable here;

and here:

You need the parts in both of those links to make one cable for use with USB.

Good luck and have fun.

Re: Datamaster????

Ebay link isnt working, goes to an ebay page with jibberish on it.

USB to serial adapters can be a pain. Sometimes I think its easier to get an older laptop than it is to get an adapter to work. I tried 4 adapters to get Tunerpro RT to run with no luck. My Radio shack adapter will work on my older Compaq laptop but not my newer Dell. The Shack adapter works fine on my Dell for running my wide band though. Strange, but thats the way it is. It has something to do with the baud rate of the adapter and its construction, according to Mangus.

Re: Datamaster????

I fixed the link . Its a PCMCIA to RS-232 Serial 9-pin CardBus Adapter Card . I refused to get an old laptop use , with and tried a couple diff adapters before getting this one . This was the first international direct order I have ever made . That box had a but load of stamps on it .
