mattw} What kind of temps do you think the interior of a white typhoon would see after being parked outside in the sun on a 100 degree day? I'm thinking that peel n seal would work just fine on the floor and maybe use RAAMmat BXT for the sides said:Yeah, my thinking exactly. The sun isn't hitting directly on the floor, it probably isn't going to get hotter than 140DF, ever. Of course, the fact that I already bought 100 sq ft of peel & seal may have something to do with my position
I'll probably use all 100 sq ft on the floor, and cover it with thick plastic sheet and tape the edges. Then save my pennies for 100 sq ft of RAAMmat to do the sides, doors and roof.
Good info, has me thinking seriously about whether to use the peel & seal even on the floor.

Beavis said:I had her smell it, (good sensitive nose). She said it had a "tarry" smell and that I should not do that as it may make the truck stink after time. That is some thing I really don't want.

The stuff I have I did some testing on ... stuck about 2 square inches to the exhaust of my daily driver... it got hot enough that you couldn't touch it, took it a week to fall off during regular highway commuting ... no runs, no tar smell thus far :tup:stlSY said:Nothing like that freshly paved truck smell....![]()
