Do SyTy's have "Black boxes?"

Nope, no black box in a syty. The so called black boxes are really just the DERM or SDM unit in GM cars. It's the brain for the air bag system, so it HAS to keep track of speed, seat belt status, braking, etc to be able to determine if it should deploy the air bag. It was made to keep track of wreck information so GM engineers can retreive information from wrecks to improve the air bag system operation. I think it's great that it's being used in courtrooms.
