I was on the way to work, and some bonehead rear-ended me.

I think it'll buff out.. what do you think?

Car has only 70k miles on it... :-(

Holy sh!t, my stomach actually dropped when I saw what it was. You are a better person because I would have gotten out and beat the daylights out of the guy that hit me. Hope the next one comes soon....

As you can tell, it wasn't a light rear-ending.
We just came over a hill. The truck in front of me stopped quickly. I mashed the brake and stoped in time. Then, I looked my re-view mirror to find a full-size chevy pickup screaming toward me... It knocked me across the road. When the car caught the grass, it flipped right over.

The driver's seat broke. The rest of the car is a mess, too.

I guess you can consider yourself lucky the ditch wasn't full of water. A car can be replaced, but a life can not. Go buy some lottery tickets.

Does anybody else have the events of this accident playing in their heads like this: GN slams on its brakes, stops cold short of the vehicle in front, truck rear ends GN, GN explodes in the air flipping completely over and landing in the ditch?

I don't know why but this is how I would explain what happened to the cops if I was involved and riding in that poor overturned GN.

Glad you're okay, car accidents suck...I hope they take his house for ruining such an iconic car.

I don't know why, but yesterday I decided to drive the GN - first time in months.

My normal daily-driver is a TDI Beetle. I sorta doubt that Beetle would have protected me like the GN did.
