hello i found a 91 sy with only 7884 miles on it its all orignal even tires and air filter tell me what you think its worth cause i think i mite buy it thanks all

There have been a few people who have bought low mile trucks and had problems with them becoming daily drivers. There is one low-mile truck that has had more stuff replaced than my 110K mile truck.

I agree with the low miles grelims, but the truck is only new once.

What are your plan for the truck? Drive it every day, put on 15K miles/ years or drive 1-2K miles/year. You will lose quite a bit of resale value ($5K) if you put 15K on it in one year.

If you buy the low mileage one, you'll be shopping for another one that you can drive on a regular basis.

i can gurantee you if you buy that sy, it will end up being a daily driver witihin the first 3 months you own it...theres no way you will drive your beretta when you have a syclone sitting there..Just wait til you mash that pedal once. That feeling lasts forever. I havent driven mine in a year and a half and it drives me crazy every day I get in my other vehicle.

Why not drive it? If you are looking to not loose so much money invest the cash. Its one thing if you have a ton of money and a car collection. Its another when you have a beater and a nice car. Why be afraid to drive it. What a waste. So you buy it, drive a few thousand miles a year and end up selling it for less than you bought it for. WHAT AN IDEA. The person who buys it from you will be happy he has a low milage truck to drive around. They will thank you for taking the depreciation. Have a fun truck parked in your garage, that you just spent a ton of money on, and drive your beater. Then you can look at all the nice cars on the road and wish you were driving your SY when a cocky mustang shows off. I understand if you (like I) have to communte 25miles a day one way. You dont get to take the truck with you when you die, they wont be worth a million dollars. OF COURSE THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. :agrue:
