I need to get a carpet kit for the bed. I'm going to be making a trip in the Syclone and don't want to scratch it.

Let me know what you guys have seen.

Thanks in advance!

I have a bedbug in mine and have been looking to replace it with no luck.

I have a bedrug. They are hard to come by. You could get some indoor/outdoor carpet at home depot and just cut it to fit the bed.

DO NOT buy one of those Gaylord kits. I have one and it is a total piece of crap. Since it does not go under the rail you will have to notch it for the bed cover and it ends up being a total sh*t show. I ended up just tossing the side pieces. Total waste of $400.

Why didn't you buy the under the rail kit? You have posted before yours is a "piece of crap" and I am having a hard time understanding.. I can't imagine an over the rail kit fitting with a tonneau cover which is why I order the under the rail kit. I wouldn't classify mine as anything close to a piece of crap and wouldn't tolerate anything less than extremely good for my truck. It fit as expected and looks great. Many people have seen it at different gatherings and asked about it. Since Bedrugs no longer exist, I don't want to see people miss out on something that will work for our trucks especially if the wrong part was ordered causing a bad experience. On the other hand, if their quality was bad on yours and it was the correct under-the-rail kit then it is definitely a problem.

When i purchased this kit four years ago there was no under the rail kit available according to Gaylord. This was the only option they had available.

That makes sense. I could see if it did not go under the rail like mine does it would be a real problem. I ordered mine approximately 3 years ago and it was an under-the-rail kit. All I had to do was make 2 small notches in both sides for the brackets that hold the tonneau cover rails in place

I will try to take some pictures of mine in the next week and add them to this thread so people can decide if they like the look/fit.

I went ahead and ordered the Gaylord kit. I just ordered the kit and told them it was for the syclone. They didn't make me aware there was an under the rail kit. So I had to notch mine for the tonneau cover.

Here it is installed:

I was pretty happy overall. I understand nothing's perfect. So it fit pretty well and I can keep my 25K mile bed nice and unscathed!
