What does yours work out at?

Take the total amount of money spent on your SyTy since you bought it and divide that by the number of miles you've actually driven it.

I think I am right around $22 per mile.

2 seperate trucks to finally get one to run right, about 49k on one and 1k on another, 6 years of ownership, close to 30k spent total... I'm around .60 cents a mile. Still cheaper than a taxi cab :tup: :lol:

I'm at $8.60 a mile.
But I'm about to start on the performance side of it soon which should probably double what I have into it.

If I grossly estimate what my dad spent on maint. and what I have spent on mods it is 6.88 a mile. If you take my miles <3000 and what I have spent modding it into unreliabilityhood it is 3.33. I thought I would be worse. I forgot I nursed it to Homecoming and back from PA. Otherwise it would more like 10 dollars a mile.

roughly $1.83/mile so far... ~$11k ---> 6k miles.

Your dad is the original owner right, so his mods should divided by 272k.

Are we including the price of the vehicle? You know most cars should be well under $1/per mile.

$1.25 on black ty
.45 cent/mile on white ty

40k miles put on black ty
10k on white ty

Yes I included the 26k orig ask price, plus 14k for maint (motor, trans, 2 turbos, expensive for the day tires, and what seems like 1000 oil changes). I did the math wrong so it is .14 cents a mile. I did the math on mine right except I forgot the purchase price so it is 5 dollars a mile. Thanks for pointing that out Dave. I don't even want to think about gas :p

If we don't count trailered miles I'm at over $130 per driven mile, but I've put less then 100 driven miles on it since I bought it. I've trailered it more then twice as many miles as I've driven it.

I am not sure I want to do the math on mine...I just I should start driving the wheels off of them to make them justifiably efficient. Actually it would take about million miles to get me in the low teens…cents wise. That’s just the one. The other isn’t far behind…

Maybe I should rent them out to get some miles logged…so they could become cheaper per mile.

North of $20/mile for me and it has generally ran the last seven years I've owned it which makes that even more funny. I bought it with close to 7k on the odometer, now it has 9800.

Since I have not drove it yet that first mile will be over 6,000 a mile.ouch!!!!
