I got the little micro switcher that is the size of a 14pin prom (Thanks, Matt!)

Still don't have a drac though. I can do a mockup and see how everything works as soon as I get one.

Correct....I soldered a spare one of mine last week. I can snap some pics of the dip switch and the process if need be. Easy stuff....basic IC soldering.

the soldering part is no problem.

hood if you could put some pics up for reference...as fellow members do this mod it may help them with the install.

george thanks for taking your time to make this happen for this community.i know i really appreciate people like you going the extra mile... :tup:

im in for a 160 set w/o boost guage w/ lighting upgrade. will send funds in the morning.

But, I'll snap pics tonight. FWIW, I'd be willing to part with my spare DRAC with this switch already soldered in on an exchange basis (you send me your old, working, DRAC). If interested (anyone), PM me.

I'm so glad I found this thread, this is exactly what I've been looking for! I'm changing over to 3.08 gears soon and this is perfect.

So George, have you gotten this DRAC mod finished and installed in you Ty to see if the speedo is reading correctly with the modded DAC and the 160 speedo?

Ill need to do this with my GT once i install the 160 CF guages, so id like to know if you had to chnage the math, and did you run a second DRAC to run just the speedo? Also how much woudl the odometer be off if you just ran with one DRAC recalled for the 160 speedo face?
