Driveshaft comparison

I just got my PST carbon fiber shaft,So I decided to check the weight.

Stock shaft 15.5 pounds

Aluminum 11 pounds

Carbon Fiber 11 pounds (with large joints and yoke(

I would have thought the carbon fiber one would have been 2 or 3 lbs lighter than aluminum .What's the price on the aluminum vs the fiber one? Would be kinda cool to have a polished aluminum shaft, not that eevrybody looks underneath a car/truck.

about $600 or so more for carbon.I am going to check the weight again later..

I put the correct yoke on and it is about 2 pounds lighter
