Got the email yesterday! the motor is done. A partial fill Vortec head,custom cam build.
Dyno numbers are N/A just for break in. 272 hp 252 ft lbs of torque!

That's awesome Jeff! Great power for NA. SOUNDS SWEET :tup: I'm dropping off my Spare Block tomorrow to get built. Very excited and hopefully my new engine will be running the same ECU (Holley) your shop did!

Can't wait to see yours finished with Boost

Nice. Is your custom cam a Steve Morris? What turbo, and what is your boosted dyno goals?

Yes the cam was speced by Alex at SME. Bullseye power 62 mm dual Baal bearing with race cover. Not really shooting for a specific number. I want a strong well running truck.

I'm plotting a similar build here soon, just using a different engine computer. It sounds great btw

Wow those are some nice #'s for NA , I bet it will put down some nice numbers once boosted. What C/R on your pistons?

Nine to one on the compression ratio. We will see once the turbo and E85
Is in use.!!!! Yippeee

Looks like it was dynoed at Golen... Maybe they built it?? Never heard of them to build a V6 though :dunno:

Chad Golen is the builder. He was very easy to work with. He is very nice guy also.
He has built 4.3's before.

Wifey and I are staying in CT now, we are squaring away a house over the next few weeks. Moving up to Suffield. So I should be around a lot more. May even have a get-together at the new house in the fall.

Chad built my bowtie setup. Trust me he knows what he is doing. He took great with my setup and helped me through some issues
