EST and ignition timing ?

Hi guys !

I`m a new member all the way from Sweden, so you know if my spellings bad :wink:

Then the question, is it possible to dissrupt the ignition sequence so bad you burn a piston , i mean if you set the ignition to high you will end up with a burnt piston . But is is possible to set the ignition to high with the EST system and all ?

I got i -92 typhoon if that makes a difference ?

you need to disconnect your tan wire under the passenger side by the heater core. this wire is to your EST and you need to disconnect it to set base timing. 0 degrees.

Ok just disconnect it and plug it in again ? or do i have to wait some minutes ?

you want to set timing, right?
disconnect the tan wire like mentioned, start the car, use a timing gun, and set it at zero..
after that, connect the tan wire, and erase the codes by taking out the ECM fuses
