Fast blinker

I just installed some LEd 1157's and now my blinkers flash REALLY fast. I was wondering if our trucks had a "bulb out" system so when there's less resistance (a blown bulb) the blinkers flash quicker than normal to alert the driver. If so I can just get some load equalizers and it'll be back to normal, if not, then something else is wrong. Thanks.

I had the exact same problem but I didn't want to replace my flasher although thats just what I was told so I just put the regular ones back in...

this is an easy one guys.
you can:
1 - just wire in a bulb in series with teh led's - this will provide the resistance the flasher needs to function correctly
2 - just get an electronic flasher
go to your local (real) parts store, or car stereo shop
these dont need resistance to work.
btw, led's have nearly none.
alaska, if you dont have anything near, jc whitney sells em mail order
