FAST Classic

I got this from another member and never even installed it. The Ty is running great right now, so I have some other stuff I want to get done instead. That, and CA smog sucks, so Im not wanting to spend the time to do a clean install and then remove it and put it back in for a smog check. Im asking $1000 shipped, and Im pretty firm on that. The only thing its missing is the cable to tune the unit, I never got it and never got around to buying it. I cant seem to find the email for some reason, probably one of the kids got ahold of my phone again. Just email them and they will get the right part number. What you see is what you get. It just needs to be taped up and shipped off.

Re: FAST Classic

This is ready to ship out. This one doesn't work like the the stock injector setup. This one actually fires each injector individualy, not a batch fire setup.

It does have the capabilities of sequential plug firing, but only if you set it up with a crank trigger and modified distributor. Without a crank trigger setup it is a Bank-to-Bank batch fire system. I have a run FAST Classic on my awd Ty in Bank-to-Bank mode for over 10 years. They are easy to tune an have everything one needs for our trucks unless you are seriously racing your truck. I don't mean occasionally racing...seriously racing.

Many people think they have to jump into BS3, Hollley Dominator, FAST FXi, etc because they have this "built" street car. The Holley HP and the FAST Classic is usually more than enough to control most street cars. If your pushing the outer limits to where you need the control of the BS3, Dominator, FXi, and pushing the motor to the edge, one must have the knowledge, willingness and money to play the game of destroying and rebuilding motors, etc.

The FAST Classic is a nice simple, capable, and very controllable unit for those that have modified our trucks and don't want to deal with the stock computer and the various programs that are made to control them. You can tune live and collect data live and over lay data results directly on the fuel and spark tables to easily understand and make adjustments. Great system for the money you can buy these for!

Re: FAST Classic

Thanks for the info. I've only pulled it out of the box to figure out what I need to do and that's it. I'll email FAST and give them the info on it and see exactly what I have.

Re: FAST Classic

You have a batch fire box with iac control setup for stock dis

The reason I know is because that is my old box the tune in it is for id1000 and with a bw366 it went 10.80 on pump gas

No one is interested? I figured my asking price is a great price, especially since someone on facebook is selling the same thing for $3k. I might just end up using this then.

Re: FAST Classic

Gonna start putting this up on other forums, Craigslist, and maybe ebay, but I will be raising the price and that will be the price I stick with.

Several years ago I would agree that they were going for 3k or so. The problem I see is competition in this market has driven prices and options down. For example you can get a new holley system for engine only with harness for $1500. it happens to do more than the fast does.

I sold a very similar system about 2 years ago for less to get rid of it.

Im not going to give this thing away for free considering I traded a $1500 turbo that was brand new for.

Look, I have a number in my head that is the absolute lowest I'll go. If you are serious, as in cash is one step away from my possession, pm me your offer and I'll say yes or no.

Re: FAST Classic

I'll take $800 shipped and that's it. That's taking a loss of $700 for two things I never even used, other than something holding my shelf down.

This needs to go so I can buy tires for my new wheels.

$750 shipped to lower 48 is my final price drop.

Thanks for your help on this. Come to find out, I bought an MSD distributor and didn't look up the part number when I bought it. Got it, can't use it with stock setup. Well, I can use it with this FAST which makes it one step closer to sequential fire setup.
