Re: Fresh Paint

Can you post more pics and details of the cloth cover? Seems like something that is nice and different.

Re: Fresh Paint

Great looking truck. Nice to see some that still retain some sense of originality. Cloth cover looks good as well. If it works on convertibles, I guess there is no reason why it cannot work as a tonneau cover.

Re: Fresh Paint

they told me that this could last forever. Didnt like the factory one because after a while it begins to crack and looks old. this material is the same cloth made on my corvette.

Re: Fresh Paint

Nice pics, love my cloth cover also, but I need to replace it and the
company don't make them anymore. Who makes yours?

Re: Fresh Paint

I got it done here in tulsa, ok. The name of the shop is called Pruitt's auto trim. The guy that owns it is Buddy Pruitt and hes been around for 30 or more years. Ive seen him do the cloth tonneau covers for the shortwides and elcaminos so I ask him to do one for my truck.

Re: Fresh Paint

The material is $250.00 and 200.00 for labor... he used the factory hardware and just added his own button snaps. If you notice the factory bed cover exposes the hardware so I told him I wanted it where you could see nothing but the cover. He figured away to drill holes in the rails so the cover could lap over. I still have the factory snaps and cover if I wanted to use it again.
