Thanks. Don, i'll do that. Although i'll only get one run in before they threaten me to put in a cage, but oh well. I guess i'll have to go to a different track each time. Any progress on your ty btw? We saw Cal (the guy responsible for your motor) last night at the OSW track racing in a street racing class. He lost in the first round (that's what he deserves).

Yeah i'll tell him later today. We finally got his ty driving yesterday after the big mishap where the propshaft broke in half and hit the shifter cable, forcing the truck in park permanently in the middle of the road. The 1-2 shift is awesome in his ty now.

i gotta chime in.. this car is sick...

First off, its weird to drive next to it and hear the rumble of a syty motor instead of a 5.0...especially with that nasty T67 spooling.

Out a few weeks ago, me, jordan and christian were driving to the local late night hangout.... on the way, there was a saleen that was dogging on everyone and trying to own the place. It was all good till he stepped up to jordan in the stang....to which jordan answered back with a quick stab of the throttle enough to hear the turbo wind up... needless, the saleen driver wouldnt look over at jordan again.

Its wrong when you can see the back of the block clear as day and have just enough room to be able to stand in the bay with the motor as well...

Oh yeah... locking your keys in the car sucks as well.... good thing you can easily pull the window away from the door enough to get a coat hanger in :p

Hey Jordan,

good to hear you are alive.. long time no hear. I'm actually trying to find a notch back roller right now to do the same thing. Only thing I would have done different is made a new motor mount to move the motor back closer to the firewall. Anything helps especially when you are on drag radials.

We got a motor/trans ready to go, and i think my buddies lx might do since it was setup for sbc also.

stay in touch and let me know how it goes,.

Thanks...yeah i'll try to get some vids when everything's done.

Adam, yeah that day you also learned how to break into my house too.....you just gotta fight off the dogs if you do.

Hey Mike.... I'll be contacting you as soon as my bro empties his mut. funds. He's just trying to get some of the money back that he lost from the stock market crash. But i'll definately be talking to you in the near future for parts. I hear ya on the motor being too far forward and the weight transfer issues that might arise. The sbc motor mounts I have are actually offset and can move the motor forward or back a total distance of about 5", so the motor can go back that perfect amount to where it sits right at the firewall. The motor is of course in the forward position now. The only problem is is that when the mounts position the motor in the far back position, they come in contact with the shitty stock exhaust manifolds. So when i make some new headers, I definately will be switching the motor mounts again to where the motor goes further back to the firewall. I'll just have to re-weld the trans x-over and get a new driveshaft made (no big deal).
