front license plate bracket?

If you're talking about the frame that goes around the plate itself and says "Syclone" on it, keep your eye on ebay and the classifieds forum. If you mean a bracket that mounts the front plate so you don't have to punch out holes in your front bumper cover, talk to Morgan (NJTy180). He made one and could tell ya how to go about doing it.

Here is a crappy pic of what I did. (I really need to write up a "how to" on this.)

Anyway, all ya need is some 1/8" aluminum flatbar (Home Depot), 4 bolts, nuts and lock washers, or use nylon nuts (dont need anything huge, and I would suggest stainless). Last but not least, a $10 metal license plate frame (Wal-Mart). let me know if you need some futher instruction or not. You will have to drill 2 holes in the bumper, but they will be undernieth, not in the front.

this is all I could find at the moment, I will have to take some new pictures tomorrow if needed.

basically, instead of drilling holes in the front of the plate, you drill two holes under the bottom lip, this way if you remove the plate later on, there are no visible holes.

Re: front license plate bracket?

Is there any update with this one? I know that it was a long time ago but I would suggest that if you have some good parts from altec and other brands, then it would have been a good fit to your truck plate. I hope that all is good with this setup as of now.
