Front prop shaft seal replacement on the front diff??

Don't taze me bro!
I have a nice leak going on and need to get this taken care of. Once I confirm this is where the leak is originating, what parts will I need to replace? I assume there's more than one seal so should I do them all to make sure that they are fresh and that I'm not back in their doing it again anytime soon? What gear oil do I use and is there an additive that needs to be used w/it? Any pointers, tips or warnings to doing this? Thanks for the help.

if it's only leaking by the propshaft, then you only need one seal. it's a simple tap in seal.
that seal should especially be replaced if you are installing a gilbert shaft. it is just to easy to do when you have the yoke off the diff.

maybe gilbert could include the seal with his propshaft.(good idea) :)

Glad you posted as I'm rather new to the SyTy scene and wasn't yet aware of this issue. After your post I did some searches and I guess I didn't know it was a weak link and could cause so much damage. I'll lookinto ordering one pretty soon here. Think he'll include the seal with it if I order one?

Could someone also post a part number or what seal to ask for,,, I'm getting ready to put a gilbert in mine next week and want to replace it too.
