Full manual valvebody

My HHP stage IV w/3200 stall 9/11 shifts like a dream in d&od, but the real treat is manually shifting it.Assuming the b&m pro bandit shifter being installed right now is user-friendly, I'm thinking pretty seriously about going full manual. I know I'd prolly have to run a 2-stage air shifter so as not to miss a shift on the track, but I'd do it if anyone else has enjoyed there's.

Quicker if its auto and you wont have to drill into your valvebody

Re: Full manual valvebody

sure, quicker as auto, but more fun as manual? plus, C02 shift solenoids can handle the 1-2 and 2-3 shift just as quick as an auto, and i'm sure if need be I could slap the 3-4 shift. my home track is 1/8 mile anyway, so that'd be rare.
What drilling were you mentioning? I'd just planned to call my guy and have him send me a new vb.

I have a truck with a hartman full manuel VB and trans and I don't like it. It has nothing to do with hartman and everything to do with the fact that when you go full manuel it's also a full time 100% TV so that means whenever you shift at anything other than WOT it bangs the gears and will not feel very nice and will tear itself apart rather quickly as the 700 doesn't like really hard shifting. it's nice but it gets very old very quickly. not to mention it you happen to forget to downshift just once, you have more than likely smoked the trans.
