MESSAGE:

Attention PA-area SyTy'ers!

This year, instead of attending the All-Truck
Nationals at Carlisle (great show if you like
low-riders and monster trucks), the Mid-Atlantic
"braintrust" has decided we're gonna switch over to
the All-GM Nationals, 2 weeks earlier. (We're not
gonna ask folks to attend both since the dates are so
close.) This will give us the opportunity to join the
other GM performance cars (GN's, F-bodies, etc.) as
well as allow show-goers who actually have heard of
SyTy's to see our rides.

Now, this isn't free - however, the GM-Nats are
cheaper than the Truck-Nats. :)

Pre-registration is $25 online - that gets 2 adults
and your truck in the gate Fri-Sun 5/14-5/16. FWIW a
weekend spectator pass is $21 per person, so it's
actually cheaper to show your truck - and you don't
have to pay $5 to park either! I know some folks will
want to make a weekend of it, while others are
planning on just coming for Saturday (the biggest
day). I actually wasn't at the GM-Nats last year (the
first year of the event), but I heard it was awesome.

**The pre-registration DEADLINE is May 24. (Sorry,
they just put it up on their site.) If you want to pay
at the gate, it'll be more. (The site doesn't say, but
I'd guess either $35 or $40.)

Their official site is:
http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/GM/gm.htm

If you have any questions, let me know.

BTW - whle Saturday was a little rainy, Ocean City was
a blast as usual. Sorry I didn't get to see everyone
this weekend. Hopefully we'll get more time at
Carlisle to get together...

Hope to see ya there!
