I have pretty wicked wheel hop issues with the fiberglass leafs, but have nothing other than a sway on the axle, and it's 1" higher the rear with no weight back there. Maybe steel monos are the way to go. 10lbs is worth the extra security and better spring response.

$450 for a set of leafs that's only 10lbs lighter, and succumbs to the wear/tear of fiberglass

Zero wheel hop with my flex-a-forms and traction bars and my springs are still as responsive as day one. Very happy with them other than the driver's side finally gave up and developed a crack after about 8 years. I can live with that considering what I throw at them.

My new set on order now will have a slightly stiffer spring rate which the owner says should help reduce the possibility of future cracking. Either way, I can't imagine getting any more use out of a steel spring without them being totally shot. Steel springs may not crack, but they still wear out :2cents:.
