I got a loose rod and a spun bearing...hooray....not

sigh, sounded like I had an exhaust leak, something didn't seem right with my truck, took it into dealer for warranty repair and thats what they found.

How much for a bigger badder motor?

I don't know if I want to go back to a 350.

today is not a good day for me.

sorry sparatic thinking/typing

I have a stock engine in the GT but had a 350 in my Camaro - was relating to that.

I know that I could put a 350 in there but I do not have the know how or tools to do so (nor the bank). What would a built 350 cost me, 5k?

350 swap is pretty easy..

but if you have a warrenty why won't they replace the 4.3L
besides the CMPI motor is a pain in the ass anyway.

I have one in my daily driver, 130k on it now.

:woot:
I got my truck back today
:woot:

The motor cost $1,9xx (shipping not included), who know how much labor was and all I had to pay was $31.00 (oil filter and some other misc items).

I had my Kool-Aid smile going on, OH-YEAH!!!
