Does it have to be a 1/4 mile track? The reason i ask is the insurance on a 1/4 mile track damn near triples VS a 1/8 mile track. The Buick Community is running into this problem about the cost of track rental VS the actual cost per person blal blah ......

This might be something to consider since we are a much smaller group and it might make for a better bang for the buck !!!


Also before anybody flames my ass for suggesting a 1/8 mile track.....Remember you gotta run the 1/8 to get to the 1/4 mile mark.......

I suppose it doesn't have to be, but personally speaking, if I'm looking to race at an event and it's an 1/8th mile track, I won't be there. As far as setting up the event and figuring out what's best for the community, that won't change, its simply one less person/truck I need to factor in :tup:
