Sounds like it is that same one. If he's asking $6500 then its got to be him. FYI this guy bought this Typhoon about a month ago from Long Island for $3000 in this condition.

thanks for getting back guys. it is that one in levittown. i sold my ty, sy and gn a couple years ago and im trying to get back in cheap. is it a piece of crap. i am going to look at it tonight. i want kind of a project but not a piece of shit from ny. he told me it has 56k on it and it hadbeen sitting for awhile. do you guys know him? do you think 2k is too low if it is all there and not rusted? get back asap like i said i am going to look at it tonight thanks.

I don't think 2000 would be too low but this guy will because he's shooting for a $3500 profit. I do not believe anyone here has actually examined it. Captain Morgan has called about it.

thanks for all your help guys. i went and looked at it and it is what i would consider a bag of shit. it looks good from 10 feet but when you get close it is pretty rough. he claims it was carfaxed with 53k on it but if that is accurate it is the roughest 53k i've seen. the front bumper is pushed in on driver side, fender has two big dents as well. grill is cracked on the marker light cracked and pushed up not sitting square. the sides look decent but it appears to have been repainted or the paint is just chipping around all the window moldings. window motors are week and the drivers side is all wacky and coming off the track. tailgate has a couple nickle size dings. no radio and interior is nice other than the dash that is taken apart some cracks and cheesy alarm wiring. the underneath is wet everywhere, there is not one seal that isn;t leaking. the motor is gone probably headgasket he said he overheated and there is oil in the coolant and will only start with starter fluid. overall it is a rough vehicle. anyone would be better off buying a nice $10k truck because that is what this one is going to need to be right again. I offered him $2k and he walked away and said $4,500 is as low as he will go. it is obviously this guy is dilusional or just a crook. i confronted him about getting it for $3k in ny and he smirked because he knows its true. anyone going to look at this truck should know this and don;t get taken for ride. it is definetly a $2k truck and not a cent more. again thanks for looking out guys. anyone with a decent project truck let me know.

why don't we have a VIN sticky search field in the FS thread? you can immediately type in the VIN and see a trucks history?
or for trucks like this we can enter the VIN info, or a mod can?

I never called, I dont even think I emailed him, I forget. I know someone else PMed me and said they emailed him and got a rude reply about his recent "flip" truck.
Sounds about right and Im sure the owner is both delusional and a crook.

you shouldnt be confused. if you read the earlier posts they said he got the truck 3k and wanted 6.5k for it in its poor condition know that it is blown up he still wants 4.5k he is trying to make profit on something he destroyed and that he originally got for only 3k. if you met the guy you would have a better idea. he is clearly cheat. and i could definetly see him being rude to others as he was with me. im just letting fellow members interested in the truck to be careful.

you said it well. i figured i will drive by his house in a few months where it will most likely still be sitting, and see if he will take 1500. at least he will get half his money back. but it is so bad that i don't think i want to be bothered.

I saw this truck listed on craigslist a couple times. The whole add seemed a little "shady" and the pics of the truck showed it is far from mint. My thoughts were this guy is dreaming trying to get what he's asking... Now I can put a picture and ad with this topic.

after you guys told me he got the truck for 3k i figured i would be a nice guy and offer 1500 so at least he could get half his money back. the truck could be brought back as a beater but a lot of time and money to be right again. i hated putting the motor in my mint syclone, i would probably hang myself after working on that rat trap. the worst thing is there isn;t one thing that is nice. you cant be like the interior is nice ill just paint it, because the interior is all ripped apart and broken. and you can't say ill just put a motor in it because the interior and paint is perfect. the thing is soked from front to back with every fluid possible. the best thing to do is let this guy jerk himself off in his own dream world. if i do get my hands on it cheap and decide it isnt worth fixing all parts (basically cladding ha ha) will be offered to forum members first.
