HP tune

I just bought my truck about a month ago. The previous owner told me that the motor/trans had about 6k miles on it. The rebuild consists of forged pistons, new turbo, bored over 30, Ngk spark plugs and a aftermarket chip. I had a "fast and furious" guy check the truck out and he said I had 4 major leaks coming from the turbo, vacuum lines, and throttle. A couple hundred dollars to fix the leaks. After that he suggested that I get a dynotune/HP tune. The dynotune is 360. 00 and the custom HP Whatever is 240.00 right now the truck is running decent but it idles a little tuff. I don't know to much about these motors but he said I needed to get those things fixed (external wastegate and turbo leaks) asap. If I let him work on it I will be out about 1800. 00

Where are you located? Sounds like you need an inspection by a SyTyer and not someone who'll charge you $1800 so they can attempt to learn how to work on a SyTy.
