HVAC Controls - Vacuum Lines

I hear a hissing noise from behind my HVAC controls and took my entire HVAC controls out. I traced it to one vacuum line that popped off - it's the one that controls the center vents. Problem is - I can't find the damn thing to plug it back in. Anybody know where that hose line goes? I don't want to take the entire dash apart chasing down that line. Any help would be appreciated. BTW - now that I took out the HVAC controls and the vacuum line plug is hanging there, I don't hear the hissing anymore. But I would very much like to have AC back and working.

Re: HVAC Controls - Vacuum Lines

Never mind - problem solved. Morgan and I took a look at his junk Blazer and found out that one of the nipples on the vacuum lines plug is capped and not used. Mine just looked like it was open ended because it was clear rubber. Upon closer inspection, we saw that it was indeed capped off. It was the same way on his junk Blazer vacuum plug. We replaced the black plastic vacuum plug switch mechanism and I should be good to go once again. I'll reassemble my HVAC controls one last time and hope it works.
