Re: Hydraboost questions (+)

Thats right side up.. My hydroboost has a real stiff pedal feel too. I think it has to do with the leverage that our brake pedal applies and where the fulcrum point is on the whole mechanism. I've been meaning to check out the brake pedal on my dad's astro van as that also has hydroboost and the pedal is not stiff at all.

Re: Hydraboost questions (+)

Mine is installed just the opposite....wonder if mine is right...it works great and also has the stiff pedal...you'll get used to it...

Re: Hydraboost questions (+)

I've been told that they work either way. From the factory they are installed the same as the first picture.

Re: Hydraboost questions (+)

I have mine upside down (makes more room),my pedal is also stiffer than a wedding dick, but it works fine. The difference is the pivot on the pedal. My astro it's almost an inch higher.

Re: Hydraboost questions (+)

you can mount them either way but in the syty's we put them as shown in the second pic bc it gets the nitro can further away from the hot exhaust.

Re: Hydraboost questions (+)

Thank you.
And another questions about brake and hydraboost.

May be i need replace prop valve? For disc/disc brake setup?

Already install full brake setup from Camaro 2000. In future in plan install front setup to rear. On front install Corvette Z06 6 pistons calipers and 14" rotors.
