Idea/interest for a Northeast Meet (somewhere around MA)

It was brought up in the JJ's old thread about interest in Northeast Meet. With Jimmy V's CT meet being cancelled due his moving, it further isolates those of us in northern NASTE area. I can help organize a meet. Any idea's? Any interset for a meet this year or should we wait until next year? I could be up for hanging out, NED is almost closed this year, I could go for F1 in Braintree, but some might want something cheaper.

I am just brainstorming, by all means post or contact me if you have any interest in MA area meet.

I am the interested one, but then again i have the shittiest schedule. I dont know how much F1 is, but it cant be cheap. unless we get some kinda group rate. If we want somewhere with some nice scenery we could go to Newport, RI. I know the GTO guys go down there once a year. tons of chain restaurants on Rt. 1 and Rt. 9.

Side note. I work real close to Framingham in Natick at bernardi Audi

Lime Rock Park? Probably expensive and hard to get into though.

Springfield is close to me. There used to be a Hooters there, but it closed. There is a good strip club, so I've heard. There is a Hooters right near Hartford, on a strip notorious for street racing. Also one in Manchester, CT.

We need a map of everyone so we can pick a good central spot.

hooters by jimmy's house...we had a super mini meet there once with 2 trucks...i think they were both jimmy's. but i thought this was a Ma area meet.

not a sy/ty owner, but newport works for me. :D

I'm game for anything between me and NH :tup: .... but seriously, I'd love to see more meets up this way that I can actually get to. I would say it's too late to do anything else this year (although my truck is up and running well again so I'd go if there was something) but next spring would be sweet.

Unless you all want to try something for Veteran's day `

one of my very good friends lives mins from boston - so i am in. due to having kids i need a few weeks notice. so get to planning and lets do this. :tup:

i will be going to nopi when it comes to the boston area. if anyone wants to meet up then keep it in mind.

Ther are always huge turnouts for the car meets along the south shore of long island all summer long if you guys want to meet up there.

I'm a new member but am interested in catching up with you guys sometime when the weather clears. Hopefully you don't mind if I bring the Regal around. :oops: I'll have a Syclone eventually. :)

I'm going to be pinched for springtime meets more than likely, stuff in the CT area will work best for me. Unfortunately I won't know what my leave period looks like until mid February

When you know what your leave looks like february, pm me or post them up. We can use that a spring board to start planning a meet for the spring.

I am in the area for a few more weeks, working in Amherst at the UMass campus. I would definately like to meet up with some guys and check out your trucks. Maybe it will give me some ideas and help clear up some questions that I have about mine...

I'm going to be tearing into my truck and replacing an oil pump a week from this coming monday about an hour from UMass :lol:

I am about 30min from Amherst/Hadley.
