Ignition Won't Turn Off!!!

On my buddies Ty he went to turn the truck off and it won't go!. If you kill the truck by pulling power then put it back on the truck will start fine but not turn back still.
Is this the tumbler or the ignition switch itself? Is the switch located down on the colum?

Any thoughts please!!

Yup. I had to replace mine for the exact same reason. Not a horrible job and the lock tumbler assy is pretty cheap.
