Injectors to borrow?

To keep a long story short, I'm having issues with my truck that I have been fighting with for almost 2 months.. all the info can be found in this thread.

http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=70282

I've checked/changed pretty much everything but Injectors in the truck. I'm looking to borrow a set of 50# injectors preferably because that's what is in the truck now, but I may consider stockers along with a 2 bar map so I can run stock Memcal or even 75#rs because I intend to upgrade eventually. I've been throwing money at this truck on "guess parts" and frankly $350 for new injectors is a little too steep since I'm not positive they're my issue. I have no problem spending the money if I can determine that's my problem but until then I need a test set, or a way to test mine... If they work an option to buy would be nice but not required.

If anybody is willing to help me out I will cover shipping both directions etc.

Just trying to get my truck figured out! Thanks for the help and if you're uncomfortable loaning out a set I totally understand.

I know it is a hassle, but if you pull your injectors you can have them tested. I have had injectors tested through Napa auto parts before. It takes a couple of days, but in the end you know that you have good injectors. This will help with resale value if you do end up upgrading to bigger ones.

Re: Injectors to borrow?

Don I'm going to see if I can come up with a set of 50lbers first because only changes one variable. If I throw stockers back in I need to change the MAP, MEMCAL, and drop the base FP. I will probably still be able to determine my issue if that fixes it but I'm going to if anyone can come up with what I have first.

As far sending them out to be cleaned... I emailed Injector-Rehab here in NJ, the clean, flow test/match, and test the resisitors or something like that. I've yet to get a respopnse in 2 weeks so apparently they don't want my business.

Re: Injectors to borrow?

Let me know if you need any help I have a few parts like injectors and sencors. When I got my Ty it took me a few months to get it running right. Had a bad injector and PCM. And it probablly due to a bad ground.

Re: Injectors to borrow?

Thanks guys! I appreciate everyone stepping up and making offers. I found a set of 50lbers ready for me to borrow, I just need to go get them. I'm trying a few more things before I rip out injectors...

Don are you looking to sell the 65lbers? I was talking to Nolan (the tune guy) and he wants me to swap mine out for 65lb injectors since I'm maxing mine out anyways. I found a good deal on 75lbers but they're more than I should ever need. Let me know. Thanks!

For what it's worth I know some buick guys that have used these guys...said pretty good things about them...I think they charge $19 per injector http://www.witchhunter.com/injectorserv1.php4
