From what I know, you can’t just tell. There are all types of problems with an injector.
Stuck open
Stuck closed
Flow rate problem
Opens too slowly
Closes too slowly
Burned out circuit
Probably more things to go wrong.
It isn’t easy but if you suspect any of your injectors and they have a bunch of miles on them, send them all out to be flow tested
There is a tool that will send a signal to the injector to see if it opens or not but doesn’t check the flow or how fast it responds.
Now if any one injector is not closing all of the way, you will not have fuel pressure at the rail after sitting for 10 or so minutes with the fuel pump turned off.

THey will kinda do the samethings as plug wires sometimes or leak down so it may idle higher. If you have the right equipment to test them in the car usually they can be easy to detect the failure

That is a great point the plug will tell you alto about that perticular cylinder

Well when Cheathum burned my chip awhile back the injectors were running over 100%. I was wondering if maybe after running beyond their limits for a while they might need to be replaced. I have noticed a high idle around 1800rpm when I start it up sometimes, and stays like that for a while,then it will either go back to normal or idle at 400 ish. Stock injectors by the way..
I do definetly need to replace the plugs/wires/cap/rotor... so I'll check out those plugs

If all injectors are out at the same time (this is very unlikely) but i would not start you have to have three things fuel/air compression and fire
but i all the injector are bad that is very strang if they are not pulsing i would look at ignition module (it has the cam sensor in it)

I wouldn't worry about that 100% duty cycle. I run mine at 100% every time I go WOT for the past 4 years and they still run like a champ with 78,000 miles on them. I also bought a spare set of 140,000 mile Syclone injectors off a buddy who upgraded to 50#s, he also ran his truck at 100% Inj. DC for 40,000 miles and the car I transplanted the injectors to runs beautifully! At this point those stock Syclone injectors have about 150,000 on them.Gmoney said:

If all the injectors are out.. my first guess would be to check the connection from the injector harness to make sure it's still plugged or has a good connection to it.
