Intercooler Pump Wiring

So I had two problems with my intercooler pump,

Intercooler pump leak > Installing new intercooler pump

Last person to own this truck decided to half-ass wire in an after-market pump by ground to the frame (which is fine) and running a random red wire up through the fender, through the firewall, and jammed it randomly into the fuse panel. > It started blowing fuses when I installed a stereo so the IC pump has been disconnected and not operating since I got it.

What I'd like to know is what is the best place to wire in the + wire in order to avoid blowing fuses or having issues?

I've got an idea of what I could do, but I'm not super familiar with the wiring in this truck, is there a circuit set up for this already? Is there a really good way of wiring this in?

Note: I am actively searching and reading, just figured I'd throw this topic up here to see if I could get this figured out a bit quicker.

They are originally powered through the fuse on the back of the alternator, with the computer giving the relay the ground to turn it on. If you want to run it full time, then fused power to the alternator or the block on the right side of the firewall are the best places to get power, with a relay and a power wire from one of the the fuse box accessory power supplies, which will turn it on when you turn the key on.
