Yes the rules where changed across the board for all combos. I got weight off & alcohol. We should be very competitive, this year

WelI had some Terrible luck with the new build. We went & tested quite a few times & the new motor really is a beast. Spools in less than 1.2 sec the alcohol is some bad ass shit. On the not so positive note, we where struggling with it laying over about 200 ft out. We could not figure out why. Long story sort here. We had some issues with our EGT signals where all over the place. We had some Ground issues with the new Engine m package I'm running. Any way got those fixed. But mean while we had a bunch of fuel add to the passenger bank of the motor & we couldn't understand way. So after we had the EGTs under controll we removed the fuel from that side & sironora we burnt 3 pistons. We ended up figuring out the problem. The timing on that side of the motor was of about 12deg. The motor had to have all new pistons rods & a sleeve in one hole. Should be back together in another week or so. Now we know the problem we should be able to make some quick progress. We still ended up going 1.15 60ft on a few passes, so when we get a full pass together with those 60ft we should be in good shape.

The old motor the heads where worn out & we struggled to keep them from blowing apart all the time. They where so ported from the NASCAR guys that anytime we put a lot of boost on them they would eventually break. So what happen was it busted through one of the water jackets hydro locked it & damaged a bearing then it broke a rod.
