JS coilover bushings??

Ok, I installed the JS coilover all except for the upper control arm because the bushings didn't come with inner sleeves for the bolts. What has anyone else done for these upper control arm bushings??? Is there one out there that will work?

I am going to grab they from another set of upper Arms (ie stock), infact I was just looking at them a 10 minutes ago and trying to figure out when I am have these done (what strings/favors I need to pull).

If you don't want to do that, when I ordered the PST rubber bushing kit to rebuild my Ty's front suspension, the upper bushing came installed with the metal sleeve. I had a spare set when I did these, but for some odd reason, I thought I need the lower bushing, so I kept those. (I didn't have a coilover kit at the time)

I think those come out of the old bushings. It's been a few months since I have done an install and am kinda rusty though. I seem to remember burning the old bushings with a torch to get to the two end plates, and the center sleeves. Although I woud like to think that the ES bushings would come with those as well. I'll have to ask Jeff next time I talk to him, or at least point him at this thread.

The more I think about it the more I think that the center sleeves are re-used from the stockers. Here is a thumbnail of Page 3 of the instructions, and it says to re-use them from the stockers.

**Step 4**...although not 100% clear says to move old used sleeves, and metal ends to the new arms.

Yep, I've used the sleeves from the old bushings too. Burned the old bushing out. 8)

Even found some evidence of burning out Darons bushings

We used moog k6418 they came with the sleeves and removed the bushings and used the sleeves. The cost like $40 though. Good luck
