If you have ever spent much time in South Florida, you quickly learn that it is the Land of Old People... and they ALL DRIVE. This leads to much frustration on the road, as they never seem to see anyone/thing in their path, and your horn falls on (literally) deaf ears. Well, no more...

I previously had a set of air horns on the Chevelle, and while they were nice, they took up a LOT of room under the hood. This is a nice compact piece, and best of all... cheap

haha...i got that horn just for the hell of it. it's pretty damn loud. i want to upgrade though so i'm waiting until i get enough money for a train horn :rotf:

stupid question, but have you seen the guys with the train horn that ride and scare the shit out of unsuspecting victims? ive seen the videos numerous times and i laugh everytime.

How about you be careful with the laws and better make sure the decibels are legal in the state. You'd be supprised at how easy it can be for you to get arrested if you do that to the wrong person. (And I'm not just talking about if you did it near a cop.)

Keep in mind that if you do happen to blow it at an old person. And they have a heart attack while driving, hit someone or something and they die. Guess who just got conviceted of vehicle manslaughter.

Dave, what I ment by saying they hit someone is that it is on you. Because you caused them to have it.

Fx, you might wanna look at the laws again. Just like blasting your music is illegal if its loud enough.

PS: this thing draws so many amps that it dims your headlights if you honk at idle? Do you need a capacitor or anything? For those of you that have done or will do this, how hard of an install is it? And is there any good place to mount it on our trucks?

I want a horn that sounds like the air horns from the fire trucks at work . They're a lot more obnoxious than anything ive ever heard. I dont want the train, or semi sound. But I think it would cost too much money to get one of those set-ups.

I have the Long Horns behind the grill (hidden) on my Yukon. They are pretty loud and deep sounding.

I had the same horn but after 2 months is started to get softer and sounded like crap. Eventually it just blew out air. I took it off on replaced it with some Hella horns. Let us know how yours holds up.
