For now i just want to put in a cone K&N filter on my truck. What size would fit good in the stock location with the original filter box removed. I see 9 inch 6 inch round or a cone. So many of them to choice from. ALso what is the size i need to connect it to the tube that goes across to the turbo. Is it 3inch or 2inch.

thanks

Re: K&N filter

RPM sells the exact filter you are looking for. It's in the catalog under intake.

Re: K&N filter

I've got a question concerning air/vac lines....I have a tyube running under the air collector at the filter/carb set up that runs directly into the drivers side valve train cover.....it is disgustinlgy dirty, and needs to be replaced as it has been rubbing on the steering assembly thatruns next to my engine. What the hell is this tube for, and how can I be sure to replace it correctly ? I know that is moves gas, probably from the crank case ?
Thanks in advance......

Re: K&N filter

Good news, the tube has been replaced, it is just a vent tube that filters back into the intake to relieve gas......sounds like Peptobismol to me, lol.....cost of 3 bucks, lol...
