Any opinions on this? Looks promising. I can't seem to locate their recommended rebuilt kit though.

Gotcha! So this and the matching compressor housing should make the stock turbo a 25g? Sort of?

I dont know if the seal plate on the bearing housing will fit the 25g wheel. Is your turbo apart ? you should measure the back plate. I think the housing only fits up to a 20g wheel ( 68mm exducer on the compressor side )

yes true ... thats for the superback insert plate and the short thrust collar for the superback.


Im talking about the actual seal plate that is part of the bearing housing ... the compressor wheel sits a few mm down in it. The compressor wheel can not be larger than the machined out area. I believe the stock bearing housing fits up to a 68mm wheel ...the 25G wheel is 77.9mm

They dont mention that. I wrote to them last week but holidays, pandemic or high email traffic is keeping them from answering.

The cartridge will need some machining for the 25g wheel to fit. Did one probably 20 years ago. Had a real Mitsu 25g wheel and matching compressor housing from MHI. Used it on a TD06H cartridge
