There's not much left to strip, body wise the door thing's and the tail lights. Engine wise?? anybody's guess. It looks like it's been there for awhile so the elements have gotten inside it.

Phoon hound do my eyes see correctly that you joined in 2003 and you only have 24 posts? Hahah that's funny. Great find but there are a few things if it is stock that can attrack money; cladding, motor parts original equipment can be cleaned up and of course anything else typhoon specific. Anyway good find.

Watch it we are getting hit with a typhoon hahah typhoon falling from the sky.... Hahaha

Yup, my college buddy in the early 90s had a white TY, so I got bitten early on. I wish I had room for a SYTY, but I need something more like a SRT8 Jeep :D

Ive known a few SYTY fellas near Boston, and a few from the 3000GT/Stealth world. I guess my last log in to SYTY was in mid 2007 lol! But I had to post up my junkyard find, as it is super rare. I mostly see euro sedans and NA Jap cars, but rarely turbo stuff (besides DSMs)

If you can, see if you can get the VIN. Add it to Jimmy's graveyard. Then, as the others said...pick the carcass clean.

no way to climb up it, but I could call the yard guy. They wont be crushing it too soon, so I will see it in the summer when they put it back down on the dirt

PS rear cladding looks like it may be useable. DS door cladding might be in once piece. That's about it....

The intakes etc could make good use to somone. Check the condition of the cross over tube you never know...

Re: Located a Typhoon @ a junkyard

Parting out a 92 gmc typhoon. its really smashed up, but still has alot of usable parts. the truck has 47k on it and has been sitting since around 1998. I'm putting a link to my photo bucket, there are pictures of most of the good parts. i am keeping the motor, all the wiring/computer and everythign needed for me to put the motor in another car. the front an rear ends are good as well as the leaf springs and the axles. Glove box door, gauges, drivers and rear seat (both need to be cleaned/ conditioned and carpet re died but leather is good), steering wheel, drivers door(small rust spot broken mirror) door panel is good but leather will need to be re-glued, RR corner cladding, tail gate, glass hinges, drivers rear glass, radiator support, all the rear intirior pieces, shifter might be usable. there might be more that i'm forgetting so feel free to call me, with questions. i might let the motor or the whole truck go for the right price, and i'm open to trades. Just call and make me a reasonable offer on any of the parts. Thanks, Dan call any time, 508 525 1186
