Well im not shure if any of you remember me but i own the 93 Ty 2112. Im in a hard spot right now because in August something broke in it. Im either thinking the half shaft or the diff. Im not shure as the only person who knew how to work on my truck no longer lives in michigan . I was wondering if any of you who live near metro detroit would like to help me figure out what is wrong with my truck so i can fix it, currently the truck is over in eastpointe parked in a garage. My father had some lame mechanic look at it and hes like well i dont kno but i would say its the propshaft.. LOL .. the propshaft is fine because i still have the dynotech one with only like 500miles on it. So hopefully one of you will be able to help me out because if not i just gotta let her sit and i dont want to anymore. You can either reply to this thread or pm me or email me at

Rick if the truck is in Eastpointe.... if worse comes to worse run it up to Merrollis Chevorlet on 8 mile and Gratiot. They fixed all me oil leaks when I had them. They did a real nice job and didn't screw anything up. They did nice work and call before they even touch the truck. I can stop by sometime if you want. I am only like 5 mins from eastpoint

what happenes is if i pull it forward it will go like 3 or 4 feet then something clunks and it stops the truck, the propshaft is fine, i can apply the break and put on the gas and the rear tires will break loose, so this is why im thinkin maybe the half shaft or the front diff.

Okay you already found the hole in the transfercase..
Good luck repairing, and you don't have to drop your tranny to replace it..
