Nor would I. Don't get me wrong, I loved my S10 and I would have kept it if I could have. But having to choose between keeping a bagged truck and switching to a syty, I'm really happy with my choice.

The scene isnt dead. It's just impossible to get anywhere near the amount of money you've invested out of a bagged truck. Most guys would rather put the work in themselves and know the quality of work that has been done. If you go to s10forum.com, it's full of "I bought a nice bagged truck and it ended up being a hacked together piece of $h1t" stories. A lot of guys are hesitant to buy something that someone else has already taken completely apart and done a lot of custom work to. That added to the fact that the custom car scene in general is hurting right now because of lthe economy. It all adds up to a market thats kinda flooded with people getting rid of their bagged project trucks to try get some of their money back. So yeah, unfortunately I ran into the same thing with the last one I sold. Ended up selling it for less that I had into the suspension by itself. Let alone, the body, interior, stereo, and engine work.

Edit: My above response is intended to be a response to Dave's questions and in no way am I making any negative comments about your S10. It looks to be a nicely done truck and not badly priced either.

I would agree with Dave here, my first thought was another hacked up goofy looking truck someone is burnt out on. I had the same view, wow. Not in the market and don't have a truck to trade anyways but that is a truck I would feel good in my garage. Nicely done and tasteful.

Thanx for all the Nice Words Guys..

If I had to say a $ I would say theres prolly $15,000 + in parts n other things
on this truck.. Thats new not used parts n then the man hours spend on it..

Between my job n other things the truck jus sits in my garage lookin pretty..
Truck has prolly been rained on maybe 20 X in the last 5 years.. No Snow..

I had a Fake Syclone years ago n loved it.. The way I look at it is, if Im gonna
pay for Full Coverage for a truck to sit in my Garage Except really nice days
I would rather it be a Sy/Ty.. Truck usually get 1st 2nd or 3rd at most car shows..

Top 3 good amount of times out in Carlisle Pa n other shows.. As for the $ I
rather take a hit for some1 that can/will drive it n enjoy it alot more then I can..

Thanx,
Rob

Clean and simple trucks like that make the miss the whole minitruckin scene. Modded s-series just don't bring in any money. I had a '99 Sonoma ZQ8 extended cab, stepside, V6, auto, as loaded as they come. Stickered for almost $23k new when I bought it. Had it lowered, shave tails with LEDs in the tailgate, and lots of other mods. Never got around to bagging it, but had a Thorbeck 5 link for it. Sold it in 2007 with only 29k miles for $7500. Without mods, I'm sure I could have gotten well over $10k. It's now in Arizona somewhere on it's 5th owner. Bet it's beat to death too. If I had the money and space, I'd jump right on your truck. Very tastefully done.
