Hey-
I have been looking for a Sy or Ty in my area (Montana) for a long time, and found one that's for sale- it's a '91 Sy... only has 20 K miles, interior and exterior are very good, but the dealer wants $21,000 for it... it only blue books at $14,000... tell me what you think

I'd offer the blue book value, then see where they go from there.

IMO if its 100% stock, a $20K Sy is one in showroom condition with under 5K miles. $15K range is more around the ball park.

Hey
Thanks for the suggestions ... yeah he is asking way too much and has had it for a really long time - at least 2 years of sitting on the lot, I wonder when he will catch on...

Id stay away from it if it was a 1991 Syclone. The 91s are known for their broken trannys and weak propshafts.

Stick with the 89 or 90 Syclone instead.

That's just cruel. Funny, but still cruel.

Fine piece of machinery, the 89. Cant beat the white rims with the white paintjob with spoiler option and the "electric" graphics down the side. And you guys thought clear taillights and altezzas came about in the late 90s...heh, the 89 sported clears proudly.

Re: Looking at a Syclone, Good Deal?

wasnt the '89 availible with the GN motor as a base engine and the 4.3 as an upgrade? I think they were availible as an extended cab and 2-wheel drive options as well.:rotf:
