Looking for a lower heat exchanger.....

If anyone is selling a stock or an aftermarket heat exchanger (that fits in the stock location) that is in good shape please let me know. Mine is leaking. I did find one but the seller has the pump, wind scoop, frame and all to go with it and I only need the heat exchanger.

If someone has changed to an A2A set up and took the stock HE off long ago, this would be preferred.

I might still buy the complete set up if others might need the rest of it (without the heat exchanger, of course).

I do have paypal and a single picture along with the price shipped to 58727 would be much appreciated.

Are you sure it's leaking from the exchanger, I thought mine was also, but was coming from one of the fittings on the pump??

I've got one, the shell is crap but the lower exchanger is in good shape. PM an offer.

Thanks TY166. They are very nice. I am on a tight budget right now so these are out of my reach. Hopefully another GP will come up in the next few months after I get my 20G turbo done, new TC, chip, scanmaster, suspension installed, nasty oil leak fixed (possible rear seal).....the list goes on. A good condition stock unit will have to do for now.

Can't a rad repair shop fix it? I had one repaired awhile back. Worked and then I sold it when I sold my engine/trans.

I don't know if a radiator shop can fix it. There is not one nearby to check it out anyway. The mechanic called and wants to run a few tests on it before I replace it now. I am also still waiting on a few folks to send me information and pictures on what they have. It is nice to see there are some available. Thanks to those who have responded.

I have not forgot about those who sent me information on their heat exchangers. My mechanic ordered a fitting to pressure test mine and I am hoping they can fix it. I will be sure and keep you posted. Thanks again.

if still interested for 150 US this part is in
South America so the shipping will be a bit higher

It seems the heat exchanger decided to stop leaking. They pressure tested it and inspected the hidden areas......nothing. Not to feel left out, the bad oil leak the TY had mysteriously vanished, too (WTF?). I suppose I better hold off on getting another HE right now. I am glad to see they are available, though. Thanks, again, to those who sent me information on what they had. I will be looking for a spare soon and hopefully someone will have one laying around after I get this turbo/down pipe situation taken care of.

a clean condition ATR unit for sale !! :tup:
