Looking for opinions....

I have not found any recent threads covering this....

I have a mostly stock truck (2 bar map sensor, 255 fuel pump, 3" exhaust and RPM Air intake) and would like to have more control over timing, boost, etc. There seems to be many options for this and I am looking for the most effective method of achieving this without dropping a fortune. I plan on leaving the Typhoon pretty simple....maybe a slightly upgraded stock turbo and some suspension work. Reliability is more important, at this point. Is it a good idea to go with, say, an Ultimate chip (v10) or Moates Ostrich emulator and tuning software (Datamaster, Tuner Pro) or are there other routes I should take?

Any thoughts on this from the experienced?

Easiest route with least amount of money with good results would be

Ultimate's are pretty dated in my opinion but will work fine. If you want the most out of the truck and any parts you install then the ostrich and code $59 would be most efficient path but if you just want a little more with good driveability i'd contact Eric at turbotweak.

I personally couldn't imagine not having an Ostrich with Code59 in my truck. Not trying to step on anyone's toes, but I don't think there's a better, more powerful alternative.
