for the front-end :
a wrench *gg*
for the rear :
ghetto-style = lowering blocks + shims
chief-style = dropleafs + shocks (e.g. belltech offers a kit)
simply swap the parts, may require fawkin around w/ exhaust an things , my :2cents:

That's what I'll be doing realllll soon. Where's a good place to buy the front end bushings and such. Pretty much to refresh the front suspension because it's quite stiff and I'm thinking it's the bilsteins, but they look new.epix said:

I have a set of energy suspension bushings for the rear leaf springs. It says for 2wd/4wd S series trucks so I'm guessing it'll work. The kit for the front would be under the same vehicle? Or probably 4wd specific because the fronts are different on 2wd versus 4wd i think.

Does anyone have the stock height measurement on a Sy measured from the ground to the bottom edge of the cladding centered on the rim center? My measurement is 29-29 3/4" all the way around now front & back. I just put 2" lowering blocks and removed the very straight overload spring and replaced it with 2 18-24" arched springs off a 78 Jeep Wagoneer. The ride is very nice. No bottoming out. Seem s alot stiffer. I would say it rides like a TY with the air system still intact. It also changed the pinion angle. Pointed up side. So far I havent noticed anything rubbing or hitting or slack in the driveline.
