Motor mounts????

Just broke my second motor mount and seeing how they are a giant pain in the ass to replace. What options are out there? I dont care if they are solid and rattle my teeth loose I just dont want to have to keep replacing them every 2000 miles or so.

Go solids. Not much of a difference over stock. You never have to replace them again. Mike lee at rpm can set you up.

What brand did you use? One of the local guys used a parts store brand and his last 6 months.

I did solids and noticed virtually no increase in vibration. I bought ERue's from Turbotime because of the slots figuring alignment when installing might be easier. Mike's a great supplier also. What you get is the frame side of the mount. The engine side is regular SBC. Install is a simple 3 step process:

1) gain access.
2) remove old mounts
3) install new mounts

there is another choice .
drill a hole thru the stock rubber mount
and use a bolt and nylock jamb nut
no vibe - no breakage
