I have been stunned for the last few hours. I cannot believe it is true. I had never had the pleasure to meet him, but enjoyed his posts as so many here did. My best wishes to his family and close friends in this time of tremendous grief.

Re: Myclone is gone

I just need to post.

I was at work all day thinking about this. when I read the post before I left this morning, I was in shock and disbelief, and I pretty much still am. All day I was kicking myself for not checking to see what IP this thread was posted from, simply because I wanted to believe it was a joke.

Like many others have posted, I met Dave at the Chi-Town Nats as well. He had his pit setup right next to Pete H's trailer. We chatted a little inbetween his runs and wrenching and of course at the hotel.

I sit here still wanting to believe this is nothing more than a bad joke, but obviously its not and I cant think of anything else to say right now other than THIS ****ING SUCKS, and I dont think there is anyone who would disagree.

Dave, you will be in my thoughts forever, im gonna miss you and this entire community is going to miss you as well.

I have not been around for long, but I tend to look at all of you as family. I have no family but my wife and kids. I always laughed at his posts and thought I would like to meet this guy someday. My prayers go out to you and yours, Gary Pulizzi

Mrs Warmpancakes, you along with any other family member that has someone who they love spending a majority of time on this forum is always welcomed to post.

We truely are a small group and it hits home when we lose one of our own, especially someone like Myclone who had a connection with most everyone on here including people he never meet face to face. Over the years most of us come to know each other and countless friendships have developed because of these trucks and our obbsession for boost.

This community has definatley changed over the years since Ive been around, but in the end the comradory has always been there.

Re: Myclone is gone

I can't believe I'm reading this. I am so sorry Lisa. I regret never introducing myself at the '02 nats, when there was a crowd around Dave's truck at the track. Dave helped me out numerous times and I learned alot from his posts on this board. He went out of his way for everyone that needed help so many times. I was in over my head with the DIY-WB kits trying to figure out how to assemble them, and he just said send them both to me. He did an amazing job on them, I kept one and Jas has the other one. Another time he helped me out was sending me the interior ductwork pieces that were broken in my typhoon. I just paid shipping. The things he did for people just to help were great. He was the type that would stop and help someone stranded on the side of the road even if it caused him to be late for work. I am truly sad our community won't have the late night posts anymore, that were always very enjoyable to read. The way he helped others, and did so without hesitation is how I'll remember him. He was truly a great person that did so much for this community and he will be missed greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Lisa. If you need anything, please post in here or call me, I hope that you are OK. I know you consider us an extended family, and I thank you for having the courage to post this so soon. Please don't hesitate to call if you need someone to talk to. 206-856-2891
