We have dyno tested many of our turbo engines before they get the turbo. Depends on the build, but our standard ported vortec build with all the goodies, makes around 275-290hp at the flywheel through stock non-turbo manifolds. The stock syty V6 would make way less......

How much does the same motor make at XX psi. 15psi is somewhat a rule of thumb it should double but curious how accurate that is.

At 15 psi they usally make 500-550HP depending on the turbo. At 25-26 psi they will make over 700 HP, once again depending on the turbo. The rate of return on HP goes down as the boost goes up, and it also depends on intercooler, downpipe, camshaft, headers or manifolds and many other factors. We have made 800hp with a billet crank and larger turbo, but the block becomes unreliable at that point and a bowtie block is needed.
