To the best of my knowledge NO! !!! (A QUOTE from a verry long time member---Carlisle will never be Nats and Nats will never be Carlisle) !!!!!

Before Nats was even postponed earlier this year, it was discussed whether it would be rude of us to hold Nats this year and there was no problem with that. In fact, many of the Homecoming members have mentioned contributing to some key parts of the 2016 Nats.
Better coordinated, sure, Tom & Sportmachines has done an excellent job at getting the space, arranging our own section and promoting it for us SyTy owners, but its still a Carlisle Event. Not to take away from the work that Tom has done, but its a pre-existing show that we are a part of, not our own show.
It has not and will not replace Nats, that has already been discussed publicly on here as well as privately between Tom and committee members.
As for better attended, when is the last time you attended Nats? Have you ever gone to Carlisle? Not to make this into a pissing match, but the last Nats probably had 2x the trucks this years Carlisle did. Carlisle 2014 was probably more comparable to Nats however, so I'm not knocking either show, but to make a flat out statement that attendance is better is just wrong.

Normally yes, but Nats was postponed this year for multiple reasons.
Well technically you are right, it will be next year, 2016. Homecoming would be this year but discussions with Tony has lead us to believe the Michigan guys will be postponing Homecoming, or possibly still do it but it wont conflict with Nats, nothing has been written in stone yet,we cannot speak for their event and the Nats committee does not want to step on any toes. All I can say is Nats & Homecoming committees have been talking to each other for months now.

Thanx Guys we want to attend as many events as possible is all . We enjoy all of them I just need dates so I can and have no intention of starting any trouble.Thanx for responding, and hope to see all in 2016 :tup:

Ummm, that would have been the last one you all conducted, held at Bowling Green. I could not make it to Carlisle but plan to go in 2016. All I posted was what was relayed to me by a couple members who did attend.
Better coordinated was not a knock against the Nats planning committee. The coordination of the Carlisle event goes way above Sportmachines involvement :tup:

I hope there's a 2016 nats. I have been planning on attending a major syty event instead of the usual mini truck shows I attended in the past. Would be a honor to meet many of you and see your trucks.

We're doing everything in our power to make it better than years prior, at least recent years.

Wasn't meant as a slam against you, I just didn't recall seeing your name on the registration list for Nats in '13, or seeing your truck, but I do recall seeing it in years prior. Either way, hope to see you next year, your blue truck is one that stands out in a crowd. :tup:

I have a lot of vacation to use, and I haven't been to NATS since 1999 in KC. Hope there's something to go to next year.
