does this mean you arent counting that les broke the 1st rossler 700 he did. at the same timei got my new 400.

Only time will tell how long the current one will last.
as well as the other new current performance builds of 700's.

I did not say the 700 cant work. They have come a long way from the weak crap they were in the 80s, with more upgrade parts and more knowledge on how to build them. Now they are at the point where they can be bolted into an 11s car . Besides the Ty I also have an '87 TA that runs low 11s with a NOS SBC and full manual 700 also built by us. Did not break it yet, but that is because when I feel the shifting getting sloppy we pull it and rebuild it. We also have a '79 TA that runs mid 9s with a NOS BBC and TH400. The trans has not been touched in 4 years. As most people prob know, there are much faster cars than this all running the TH400. These are facts. I know Waller and Hartman and others build good 700s, that hold up in some pretty quick SyTy,and that is great . But bulletproof=TH400. I am just starting my Ty build
and since I hope to make good power I will go with a TH350 with short ratio 1st and 2nd and 3.08 gears, so I will be able to forget about the trans for a while.
