Need Help...Boosting problems

Ok I just did the usual tune up replacing the cap and rotor, plugs, and i just changed the ignition coil. Now when im driving and I try to punch it. the boost goes up then quickly it hesitates and i feel the lost of boost. Then it boosts again, then hesitates again(no boost)..Its like the boost is goin off and on.What do you guys think my problem is... Please help.!!!

It sounds like it overboosting, are you getting a check engine light?

could have a boost leak, i dident get my turbo to i-cooler hose clamp tight enough :oops: , when i drove to work that day i would boost to 15 then it would slowly drop to about 5 but it also sounded like i had a big ass bov under the hood when i let off the gas. tightend up my clamp at work and all went well

if your gas tank is 1/4 or so it'll do this...fill it up and see if it does it then.

yea.. i checked to see if there was any leak.. soo far no leak.. and engine is at full tank but its still doing it.. only happens when i push on the gas pedal hard...

ok i got some advise from V and he said that is sound like the wastegate is crapping out.. what do you guys think>>??
